48th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2009 Report (5) Other Makers

The Shizuoka hobby show is one of the biggest hobby (plastic model, rail transport modelling, RC, cap gun, toy etc...) trade fair held in Shizuoka Japan in May every year since 1959. The host organization is Shizuoka model teaching materials cooperative (Tamiya, Aoshima, Hasegawa). It is now being watched with interest by hobby traders and fans in the world.
48th Shizuoka hobby show 2009 was held May 14 -17 in Twin Messe Shizuoka. 82 companies participated in this trade fair, and so many new products were exhibited this time.
My friend Mr. Yamanobe went to there and took a lot of photos. I report this hobby show with his photos.
Takaratomy
GI-MIX Ground Sailing Model Series 1/700 IJN Battleship Yamato (Sep. Release)
Infrared control waterline model that sails on the ground. Some diorama structure sets of Kure naval base are released at the same time, too.

1/144 Zero Fighter A6M3 Model 32 Air Battle of Solomon (June Release / HLJ)
This item is a variation kit of the 1/144 A6M3 Model 32 Zero Fighter. New markings and comic package art by Yukihisa Fijita are added to a ready-made article.
- 6 type corps making which fought in the Battle of the Solomon.

Bandai
Mr. Yamanobe was able hardly to take pictures because the Bandai booth was very crowded. The Gundam model from Bandai is more overwhelmingly popular than the scale model. Foreigner may not understand this situation.
